I stole this from someone. and put it in my own words....

Ok, we got to school 6 hours a day for 13 years minus holidays and vacations, and of course, weekends. Probably 99.9% of the people that are in school, hate it, or don't feel welcome there, and the very few people that like school, don't like admitting it. The way I see it, is that we should learn only what we want to learn. Is there really a purpose to algebra? Ok maybe there is a point to algebra, but... There is ABSOLUTLEY NO point to trigonometry. One day I can picture myself sitting down at the dinner table with my future family and then out of no where think "I wonder what the unknown side of that right triangle is... Maybe I should measure the other 2 sides and use a bunch of "messed" up formulas to find out what the third side is..." If you are gonna measure 2 of the sides, why not spring for the easier choice, and measure the one you want to know. And why exactly do we have to learn history... it's DONE, over with, not gonna happen again, get over it!
Anyways in conclution, school should only teach what we NEED to know. Like how to cook, do laundry and take care of ourselves, and if we want a successfull career, then offer it to the people that want it, and don't just make everyone do it because school was invented by some sadistic freak, who enjoys seeing innocent children suffer!
